About this educational activity

Algorithm for acetabular reconstruction in hip revision
Accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England*
This module will provide learners with a thoughtful methodology to the evaluation and treatment of patients with acetabular implant failure after hip joint replacement. The use of an algorithm is critical to achieve a reproducible acetabular reconstruction. This module reviews the key considerations based on the Paprosky classification, demonstrates techniques and choices for different classifications of defected or lost bone in the acetabulum to optimise fixation and stability.
